Arada has brought Australian contractor Roberts Co to the UAE to manage construction projects, including the second phase of the Aljada Central Business
Arada has announced the expansion of Roberts Co into the UAE market. The Australian tier-one construction company, which Arada acquired in 2025, will now operate as part of the Arada Industries vertical to integrate delivery expertise directly into the development process.
According to Sharjah24, the contractor will focus on high-rise residential and social infrastructure projects. The first confirmed project for the firm in the UAE is Phase 2 of the Central Business District at Aljada. The company is also providing preconstruction services for other sites in Sharjah and Dubai.
The move is part of a vertical integration strategy to bring construction, cranes, and smart technology capabilities in-house. This approach is intended to increase efficiency and reduce costs by embedding technical expertise during the design and development stages.
Roberts Co has established a head office team in the region to manage its new pipeline. While the firm will handle major projects, the developer stated that existing relationships with other UAE contractors will continue alongside the new internal capability.
