The Arada Foundation has released 150 rooms at Nest in Aljada to support travellers stranded in the UAE due to flight cancellations.
The Arada Foundation has expanded its emergency accommodation support for travellers stranded in the UAE following flight cancellations. The foundation initially allocated 100 rooms at Nest Hotel, which reached capacity, leading to the release of an additional 50 rooms at the Nest Campus in Aljada.
According to Arada, the 395-room Nest Hotel is currently operating at approximately 95% occupancy while hosting affected travellers. Guests provided with these rooms receive full-board accommodation, which includes three meals every day.
During Ramadan, Muslim guests are offered iftar and suhoor at the Alsimrah Ramadan tent located at East Boulevard. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for stays lasting up to seven days. Travellers can secure accommodation by contacting the dedicated helpline.
The initiative aims to provide a safe environment for families while they arrange onward travel plans. The Arada Foundation stated that the move is part of its mission to support communities during times of need.
