Parkin Becomes Sole Parking Operator for Aljada Project in Sharjah

    MENAFN · 1 Sep 2026 · 1 min read

Dubai-based parking operator Parkin has secured a multi-year agreement with Arada to manage all parking services at the Aljada development.

Parkin, the exclusive provider of paid parking in Dubai, is expanding its operations across the United Arab Emirates through new partnerships with major developers. According to a report by MENAFN, the company has signed a multi-year operating agreement with Arada to become the sole parking operator for the Aljada project in Sharjah.

The company operates under a long-term concession model that includes public on-street, off-street, and multi-storey parking. Its revenue streams are generated from parking fees, seasonal permits, and enforcement fines. By the end of June, the firm managed over 268,000 spaces, representing a significant increase in capacity driven largely by developer-led projects.

Beyond its new presence in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, the operator is exploring international expansion. It has recently signed memoranda of understanding with partners in Egypt and Bahrain to investigate smart parking and digital platform opportunities. These moves aim to test if the Dubai parking model can be replicated in other regional markets.

The firm's growth is currently linked to the expansion of real estate and infrastructure within the UAE. As new developments like Aljada add assets to the company's portfolio, the operating base grows independently of the existing public network.
