Arada has signed construction deals with two firms to build 2,210 new homes across the Nesba, Safa, and The Gate residential clusters in Sharjah.
Arada has awarded two construction contracts worth a combined AED 2.04 billion to build 14 apartment blocks at the Aljada megaproject. The agreements cover the development of 2,210 new homes, ranging from one-bedroom units to four-bedroom family residences. All units will feature smart home technologies as standard.
China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co. will construct the five Nesba buildings on East Boulevard and the five Safa buildings on West Boulevard. Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi and Sons LLC has been appointed to build The Gate blocks 3-6, located at the southern entrances of the community. The developer noted that these contracts represent a major milestone in the ongoing development of the site.
Construction is scheduled to take 26 months, with all blocks expected to be delivered by the second quarter of 2028. This timeline aligns with the planned completion of Madar Mall. The Nesba and Safa buildings are situated near a 400,000-square-foot sports park currently under construction, while The Gate clusters are positioned near local schools.
According to Arada, the Aljada community is already home to 20,000 people. The project spans 24 million square feet and is designed to include more than 25,000 homes alongside retail, office, and education facilities. The site is located near Sharjah International Airport and major road networks.
