Pink Caravan returns to Aljada for breast health awareness event

    Sharjah24 · 28 Sep 2026 · 1 min read

The Pink Caravan will host free health screenings and family activities at Aljada from 2 to 4 October to promote early breast cancer detection.

The Pink Caravan is returning to Aljada for the third time to provide community access to breast health services. The event, held in cooperation with Crescent Petroleum and venue partner Arada, takes place daily from 2 to 4 October between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

Sharjah24 reports that mobile clinics will offer free clinical breast examinations for men and women. Women aged 40 and older who meet eligibility criteria can also access mammogram services. Medical teams will be present to provide information on symptoms and self-examination techniques.

The three-day initiative includes a community market, sports activities, and wellness workshops. Dedicated entertainment areas are available for children and teenagers, alongside sessions focused on culture and creativity. The event is designed to integrate health screenings into a standard family outing.

Attendance is free and does not require advance registration. The organisers encourage family members and friends to support one another in seeking screenings, noting that a similar event in the previous year attracted over 8,000 participants and provided more than 1,100 examinations.
