Australian speciality coffee brand The Reformatory Lab has launched two new locations at Aljada’s Zad food truck park and East Boulevard.

The Reformatory Lab has opened two permanent outlets within the Aljada megacommunity in Sharjah. The Australian café brand, which is part of the Arada portfolio, is now operating at the Zad food truck park in Madar and on East Boulevard opposite the Vida Aljada hotel.

Founded in Sydney by Simon Jaramillo, the brand is known for its comic book visuals and experimental brewing methods. According to Arada, the outlets serve premium-grade beans sourced from various regions including Colombia, Ethiopia, Brazil, and Indonesia. The expansion follows the brand's first UAE launch in Dubai last year.

The Zad location offers signature wagyu, chicken, and cauliflower pies alongside focaccia sandwiches. The East Boulevard site, referred to as The Corner Store, features an open terrace with views of the surrounding area. Both venues provide a daily selection of artisanal pastries and speciality coffee blends.

During the remainder of Ramadan, both shops will operate daily from 5pm until 3am. These openings are part of a wider strategy to expand the brand's presence to ten locations across the UAE by the end of next year.
