The Pink Caravan Community Event returns to Aljada in Sharjah this October as part of a nationwide breast cancer awareness and screening campaign.

Friends of Cancer Patients has announced the launch of the Pink Caravan 2026 campaign, providing free breast cancer screenings and awareness sessions across the UAE. The initiative includes over 75 clinic activations, featuring fixed locations, mobile clinics, and community events throughout the month of October.

As reported by ZAWYA, the Pink Caravan Community Event will return to Aljada for its third edition. The festival is scheduled to take place from 2 to 4 October, offering residents and visitors access to health services within the development. This follows a previous campaign that delivered more than 19,000 screenings nationwide.

The programme aims to make breast health services more accessible by visiting residential neighbourhoods, universities, and workplaces. Available services include clinical breast examinations and mammograms for those who meet the eligibility criteria. The campaign also focuses on educating the public about self-examination and early detection.

In addition to the Aljada event, fixed clinics will operate at Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Dhaid Mall in Sharjah. The mobile units are designed to reach various lifestyle destinations and government entities to encourage proactive health checks among both women and men.
